​강의 개요

Summary

The automotive industry is an industry that assembles and sells vehicles using about 20,000 parts, and is the world's largest manufacturing company with employment of more than 10 million people and market size of more than $ 1 trillion worldwide.

By the mid-2000s, the automotive industry had developed with great impact on industries such as steel, metal, machinery, materials, equipment, automotive design and sales.

However, the recent rapid development of ICT technology is changing the manufacturing industry-oriented automobile industry to an industry centered on new technologies and services. Representative examples are the emergence of electric vehicles, smart cars, and autonomous vehicles.

In this course, students will learn about the convergence technology of mechanical engineering and electronic engineering necessary for the purpose of introduction to smart vehicle.

​강의 목표

Goal of Lecture

The course objectives are to understand the basic principles and application techniques of automobile structural and dynamics theory, In-Vehicle communication, Connected Car wireless communication, environmental awareness sensor, electronic control system, vehicle software and autonomous vehicles.

In order to deepen the understanding of learning content and improve practical skills, we will practice autonomous driving simulation using software simulation tools.
